google penguin updateMany feel that there was another Google update on January 21, 2013. This would be the third suspected update of this month.

January 10, 2013
Mozcast.com showed a temperature of about twenty degrees higher than normal. We suspect this is a panda update or refresh.

January 17, 2013
Major Google update affecting the United Kingdom, India, & Australia. We are suspecting this was a penguin update as many people so their rankings disappear from the Google search engine listings.

January 21, 2013
Regarding the January 21, 2013, I feel this was in coordination with the January 17, 2013 update and it was just unraveling to its full extent. In other words, it was an extension of the prior update. Google may not roll everything out at once. It can happen over several days.

@tradesmenpro Thats great to hear! Sometimes google rolls out and update and then rolls it back or adjusts it to reward the people that should be there!

    Hi There

Positions has not been returned to where they were in the UK. Looking at the rankings achieved by new websites seem to be very stable at this point of time and chances are, These are the final rankings (Google has to offer). Since there is no statement issued by Google so far. Guys are hard to make a decision on what to change in their upcoming seo strategy.

Whatever this could be, It has affected top UK businesses and nothing has been repaired. I have seen some crazy results on Google for some search queries and I have not seen this happening before in my 12 years career.

However, the debate whether the rankings will return as old days, the answer is pretty clear “no” – I do not see them coming back on google.co.uk

Anyhow – so far so good! Let’s wait and watch and move accordingly from next week

Cheers for now and Good Night Guys!
