Google rolled out an update / refresh today of search results and these are the best results I have seen in 2012 to date. Most search listings are relevant, provide good information, and deserve to be in their positions. We have not seen this with many of the other updates. There was always some type of flaw. However, I have not found any with this new update / refresh from Google.
This update has not been confirmed by Google, but internet marketers have not stopped talking about it and believe Google is clueless as to what happened in their own algorithm. However, on December 21st, 2012 Google announced there was a Panda #23 refresh.
So what have we seen today?
In checking rankings on Google search this morning I saw more keywords being ranked then ever before. This is always one of our goals as internet marketers, our main goal is always to increase traffic. Also I noticed higher rankings with current keywords that were ranked before this update / refresh.
It seems that Google has rolled out this update just in time for the holidays to allow everyone to get a piece of the holiday shopping action. I will bet that there will be another update in January that will pull all these great rankings back. The reason for this is so website owners get a taste of how great traffic is to their website. And then when that traffic gets pulled back there are only two options. 1. Pay for the traffic using Google Adwords. 2. Fight for the traffic organically by using the services we offer at Seo Hop.
I really hope Google continues down the path of this most recent update because this is the one they need to focus on and keep in force. We saw the results of the other Google updates and people were unhappy. With this one it should make everyone happy. So thanks for the holiday gift Google. All us website owners appreciate you not being a Grinch this Christmas.
