Many people have been chattering today that a big update happened in the UK on Google and they are unsure whether it is Panda or Penguin.
A prospect messaged me on Skype earlier this morning asking for advice regarding the update. As I asked him what had occurred he said the search rankings dropped in Google significantly today. Well he actually said “they went to shit.”
Then he continued to tell me that the Seo company he is using, that all their clients rankings dropped.
Sounds like a Google Penguin update to me. This led me to believe that the strategy the Seo company was using got busted and Google was now penalizing them.
However, on twitter, forums, and other blogs there is plenty of chatter on this Google update happening today. Looks like the UK got hit with a big one.
I will be doing some research and seeing what I can find to help out my current and future friends in the UK. And will be reporting back on this post as soon as I find out any information. Stay Tuned.

People have been contacting me from all over the world asking what happened. Here are a few of their remarks.

After 17th when i saw my web today instead of 1st page all went to 6th n 5 th n 2nd n 3rd pages and while checking in my webmaster i found changes in INDEX STATUS … total index was 2000 and suddenly it down around 400
And i also check it to many seo company and asked than to check INDEX STATUS in all website’s google webmaster and all tell me same happened to them .. INDEX STATUS Problem .. which made me strange ..

Suddenly rank went down for all keywords. I have made this site for all local cities. Previously all local cities were ranking good. Example: flower delivery chandigarh, send flowers to chandigarh, flower delivery Jaipur, Send flowers to Jaipur, Then suddenly it went to 2nd page or 3 rd page of google.
I have never done any black hat seo and not done much directory submission, then why it happened to me. I had no idea.
